Jutland is a great area for family holidays. There is about 250km. of coast with wide white sandbeaches and an inland with lots of forrest and lovely quiet places. This area has some of the best fishingwaters of Denmark. Besides 'Legoland', West- Jutland also has many other attractions such as museums about the Vikings who were very important in this area |

There are lots of beautiful nature areas and a lot of fascinating attractions, all adds up to a good summer holiday.
Along the coast of West-Jutland lies a row of cosy swimming places. The west coast is rough and it has long wide beaches with high sand hills.

| If you like much calmer water and nature, behind the beaches of West-Jutland you can visit the protected peninsula Skallingen, where the seals are, or the bird reservation Tipperne by Ringkøbing Fjord. |
